Matt Archer

After retiring from a successful career in professional baseball, Matt joined Archer Financial as the President of the Firms Sports and Entertainment division. Matt graduated from the legendary sports and academic powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas high school in Fort Lauderdale with academic honors. He won a state championship in 2018 while leading Broward County in hitting two consecutive years and was named Miami Herald’s Broward County Player of the Year in 2019. He then went on to the University of Central Florida on a baseball scholarship where he made an immediate impact by being in the starting lineup every game as a freshman. Matt also excelled in his studies focusing on a degree in Business. Drawing from his background as a Chicago White Sox athlete, Matt's transition into this role was driven by a deep-seated desire to empower and guide fellow professional athletes and entertainers through their financial journeys. With a focus on wealth preservation and wealth accumulation, he employs a diverse array of tax strategies to safeguard and enhance the assets of the firm’s elite clients. His profound understanding of the financial challenges faced by athletes and entertainers makes him a true advocate for their long-term prosperity.
